The Williston Park Little League Opening Day Parade and Ceremony is Saturday April 1st at 11:30 am!

Due to the large number of local little leagues holding parades the same day as us, the police have asked for all leagues to adjust their times and shorten their routes this year so they will be able to assist in ensuring the safety of those who are marching in the parade.

For this year, we will begin as always on he corner of Hillside Avenue and Broad Street, next to Frantoni’s. We will begin to assemble between 11:00 and 11:15 and will begin to march at 11:30. We will march straight down Broad Street to Yale Street and then into Kelleher Field. Opening ceremonies will begin upon arrival at Kelleher Field. Food and drinks will be served afterwards.

The WPLL Board of Directors welcome anyone who would like to march to join us!!

Registration for the 2023 WPLL Spring season for softball and baseball is now open! A few things to remember:

1. You must be logged into the website to register. If you do not have an account you can create one for free.

2. There are two registration buttons: softball and baseball. Please use the right one!!

3. Softball begins for girls in 2nd grade. All first grade girls and younger must register for pre tee or tee ball through the Baseball registration

4. If you would like to coach, please mention that on the registration form

5. If your company would like to sponsor a team, please reach out to me directly.

We have another champion! Team Scarola defeated Manhasset last night 9-7 to secure the “A” Bracket Minors Championship! Great game that came down to the wire !

Our league includes 14 teams in the Minors bracket representing towns from Manhasset, East Williston, Albertson-Herricks, Port Washington and Roslyn. Some very tough competition but our girls rose to the occasion and finished #1!

And thank you to all the coaches and parents of our 9 Softball teams for making 2022 an amazing year for our Lady Patriots! This is an all volunteer league and we cant do it without all of you!

Congratulations to Team Martin (Body Image Fitness) as they won their Majors Division bracket Championship game last night at Kelleher Field ! The girls were down in the bottom of the 6th inning by multiple runs and battled their way back for the walk off win. A great team effort against a very talented Roslyn team.

Just wanted to share the playoff schedule for our Softball teams that are still alive in the playoffs. We have a team in the championship game for Majors/Minors in both the A and B brackets ! Amazing to see. We would love to have you come out and root the girls on!

Our enrollment this year was over 100 girls for the second year in the row and the future is looking very bright for the program! We fielded 9 teams this year and our girls compete against teams from East Williston, Albertson-Herricks, Manhasset, Port Washington, and Roslyn!
