2017 Successful Fundraiser- Thank You!!!!!
Dear Baseball and Softball Parents,
On behalf of the Williston Park Little League Board of Directors, we would like to take the opportunity to thank all that participated in the second annual fundraiser. The event was an overwhelming success as we raised over $10,000! These proceeds will be used for both new equipment, as well as outside training – all for the betterment of our league. We plan to do summer programs, and to extend this into the fall and winter, which will enhance the skill level of all of our players.
We would like to thank all of the volunteers who assisted in making this an extraordinary event. Their hard work, along with that of the numerous volunteers, allowed us to solicit donations from over 50 local businesses and individuals, providing over 40 raffle basket prizes – a highlight of the event. The 50/50 raffle was a complete success, with most of the league families selling tickets to support this fundraiser. We want to provide a special thanks to the ownership of Molly Downs, who understood the importance of this initiative and were more than generous in allowing us to host this event.
This is a very exciting time for the Williston Park Little League! It is wonderful to see our community take such pride and come together to support a great cause that will benefit the boys and girls playing in our little league.
Again, thank you for your continued support, and I hope you are excited as we are about the future of the Williston Park Little League.
