The Williston Park Little League is excited to announce that the registration for the summer clinic has been going extremely well. Based on the strong enrollment, we will be increasing the number of trainers and the fields we will be using. Please note that we had to move the clinic to Wednesdays in order to rent two fields at Cammarer Park. In addition, we will be opening registration to boys and girls in T-ball, provided they are going into first grade. When registering, boys should choose “Farms” below. All girls in t-ball who are entering first grade, as well as current softball girls, should register for “Softball (ALL)”. Jimmy Bulva and his staff will be focusing on different skills for both baseball and softball.

To register, please go to www.wpll.wpsports.org and click in the 2017 Summer Clinic Registration button. You will choose from the below options (choose the same league/division you child was in for the 2017 Spring Season):

Softball (All)- Wednesday 6:00 – 7:00PM
Boys Farms/T-Ball(first graders)- Wednesday 6:00 – 7:00PM
Boys Minors/Majors Wednesday 7:00 – 8:15PM

Finally, all kids enrolled with receive a dry-fit cammo Williston Park Little League t-shirt. The cost will be $40 for the entire clinic. Registration will be closed on July 2! You will receive an email advising you when the clinic will begin.

If you have any questions, please email Joe Manopella at joemanopella@gmail.com or Bill O’Brien wpob@aol.com.

Dear Baseball and Softball Parents,
On behalf of the Williston Park Little League Board of Directors, we would like to take the opportunity to thank all that participated in the second annual fundraiser. The event was an overwhelming success as we raised over $10,000! These proceeds will be used for both new equipment, as well as outside training – all for the betterment of our league. We plan to do summer programs, and to extend this into the fall and winter, which will enhance the skill level of all of our players.
We would like to thank all of the volunteers who assisted in making this an extraordinary event. Their hard work, along with that of the numerous volunteers, allowed us to solicit donations from over 50 local businesses and individuals, providing over 40 raffle basket prizes – a highlight of the event. The 50/50 raffle was a complete success, with most of the league families selling tickets to support this fundraiser. We want to provide a special thanks to the ownership of Molly Downs, who understood the importance of this initiative and were more than generous in allowing us to host this event.
This is a very exciting time for the Williston Park Little League! It is wonderful to see our community take such pride and come together to support a great cause that will benefit the boys and girls playing in our little league.
Again, thank you for your continued support, and I hope you are excited as we are about the future of the Williston Park Little League.
Sincerely,
Joe Manopella- President
Matt Murphy- Sponsorship & Fundraising Chairman
